First "built" motor Explorer hits the dyno!

ZFG Racing LLC and Nostrum High Performance are at it again! 709 AWHP and 675 Ft-lb uncorrected on stock frame CR Performance stage 5 turbos on e60! We all saw Kathy and Matt’s connecting rods become external earlier this year and well that sucks you can’t push a platform without finding the weak spots. Happy to say she’s back up and running sporting a ZFG Racing long block and laying down the power on the dyno! This is also an excellent example of our DMS tune and its capabilities! 709 hp in sport mode, 575 in normal mode, 531 in “eco” mode and 492 tow mode all built into the same tune just flip the dial to the desired mode. Yeah, crazy what you can get out of a 3 liter V6! I modded my 6.2l V8 supercharged 2011 CTSV to get 700rwhp when I went road racing for my mid-life crisis

Uncorrected numbers are really not worth anything. At least use STD or SAE. Better yet, post the actual DynoJet run file and I can select what I want to see. The DynoJet data analysis software package is free for download.

The "uncorrected" numbers are the only numbers that really matter. That is the actual measured hp, unfiltered and uncorrected. That is how much power you are actually making at that given time on that Dyno, in that weather etc etc. Everything else is corrected via the weather station data to equalize the power to a standard tempature and barometric pressure. The issues with turbo cars the correction factor can really skewed the numbers. For example something can make "600" awhp STD at 3000' of elevation and be out of fuel system, however the correction factor is 1.15 so it really only made 521 awhp at that altitude, on that day in that weather. The issues is out ran out of fuel system at 521 and even if you come down to sea level it'll still be put of fuel system at 521. So a lot of time, with crazy correction factors like 1.15 it doesn't translate because some other factor is in the way.

Lucky for us, Nostrum is at sea level and in good weather! Here is all 3, 692 sae, 709 uncorrected and 711 STD.
