Does anyone know the part number for the filter for the engine. Autozone has been giving me conflicting info. NOT the cabin filter. I just traded in my '21 and wish I took it out. It brought that engine to life.
Order this filter…it’s much better than anything K&N. But let’s be honest…you’re not going to feel a single things from a drop in filter swap. Buy it for the reusable convenience…it won’t add any power.

I’m hoping you saying “it brought the engine to life” is a joke because a drop in filter really isn’t going to do anything. The only aftermarket drop in filter worth its crap is the aFe, of which @UNBROKEN gave you the part number.

Not a joke at all. When i swapped the filter, the sound of the engine kinda woke up. When in sport mode. It wasn't quiet like factory. No performance gains of course. It just sounded better. I'll give that aFe a shot. Will also be doing the thermal r&d exhaust this time around as well.
I put an AFE dry filter in mine.
Using an oiled filter could potentially suck oil from the filter down into the turbo especially if you over oil it after cleaning.

No, the oil in the inducer on your turbo didn’t shorten its life. Sorry….thats not how it works and there’s no way your filter had enough oil on it to do that. I spent way too many years building and racing high performance diesels….I have a little bit of knowledge about that.
