this week I’m installing cvfab down pipes, S&B intake cvfab hot and cold side charge pipes, Fen Fab rear arms and vertical links, JHB dif inserts x2 and zfg E50 tune.

Oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection at dealership. Did the catch can myself when I got home since they apparently didn't. This is about 6k miles worth.


I mentioned checking transmission fluid but they said it didn't need it. Car is at a little over 17k miles. What's the hive mind think about tranny fluid changes? I keep hearing how the transmission may have issues, so I'd like to stay on top of it..

Check the fluid yourself, and change it every 30k or so. It is not a lifetime fluid, contrary to what they say.

Added running boards. Mom's happy. They do get in the way when getting in and out though. I have to step out over them. Not as bad getting in.

Would love to see your process to install the dashcam. Would you be able to share?

Nothing really elaborate about my install...exchanged the 3M tape for heavy duty Velcro (same type used on EZPass transponders), attached the front cam under the black plastic cover under the mirror, attached the rear cam to the top center of the rear window, plugged the power into the cig lighter in the front console (popped off the side console molding to run the wire behind the glove box) and hid the wires behind the a-pillar molding and between the headliner and moldings to the back of the car.

Not professional, but hidden well enough.

Added running boards. Mom's happy. They do get in the way when getting in and out though. I have to step out over them. Not as bad getting in.

I love my Step bars. I found that after a few days I don't even know they are there when getting in or out. Looks like we have the same ones, did you have a hard time getting them on? I had to fix the jack pinch points cause some lazy mechanic smashed mine down.

No problems. They were pretty easy to put on.

Today, like every Saturday, I cleaned her up and got her looking great again. Unfortunately it’s supposed to rain again in the next couple of days but she’ll just get washed again next weekend. Love every minute of it!

Didn't do this today but last week. Added a K&N air Filter for 2025 Explorer ST Part Number 33-2395. oh I also added the leads for my battery tender which is the NOCO Genius 5 so I can connect and disconnect easily with out having to use the alligator clamps. (also just an FYI I found a video where a Ford guy says to hook up the negative before the BMS and not directly to the Negative so it can properly charge and the BMS will correctly read. However the Manual says After Charging to reset the BMS which is really easy (turn car to accessory mode, Flash high beams 5 times, then step on brake 3 times) all with in 10 seconds and then wait for like 10 to 20 seconds and you'll see the battery indication in the dash flash which means it's reset. Not sure if you really have to reset it when hooking it up before the BMS as the video suggested but I did it anyways just for sake of it. Other than those things I have not done much else as I'm keeping mine as stock as possible for a while.

I did the same with a NOCO G1 (I liked the idea of it trickling slowly). The extension lets me connect on the driver’s side which is easier to reach in the garage.

My tender has been grounded above the sensor for 4.5 years…works perfectly.
