I just bought this, is there any tricks or gotchas to install it or is it just like a normal thermostat install?

Pretty simple. Pull the airbox out and then the bracket it bolts to. Pop off the t-stat cover, remove the o-ring and t-stat then put it back together with the new one. You’ll lose a bit of coolant...IMHO not enough to warrant buying more coolant. Just top it off with distilled water and go.

Not to pull a dead thread, but did you have to burp the system after Unbroken?

On my Ford Flex, you would rev the engine to 3,000K to 3,500K for 35 to 50 sec to burp the system.
