Its
So that I don't have to do a reply to individual posts, just going to do a general reply to all, based on my experience. When you are under warranty, loaners are provided for free by the dealer and on the billing invoice that is transmitted to Ford, as they will reimburse the dealer. Roadside service is also included for free while under warranty, but you may have to wait for hours for them to show up as Ford only has contracts with certain towing companies. The dealer can see every CEL that has occurred on the vehicle and can tell if you cleared the code. The Sales department will even check for this when they appraise the vehicle for a trade in.

Why didn't my dealer do the TSB before delivery is my question...

Also the car was delivered with 44 psi in the rear, is that normal?

Mine came with 44 on all four corners, heard they’re shipped that way so tires don’t get flat spots. Easy fix, but dealer should have taken care of it. Would seem like Ford should know which version of software is running for each system and could add a step to update as part of dealer prep, but that seems proactive so….

The TSB is from Nov 25 2024 and says any explorer manufactured before Nov 4th 2024 could have this issue. Mine was built October 19th 2024

Ford must be using those $9/hr software developers that Boeing is using on their new 737's.

Dealer just called to tell me it's due to cold temp. Since it disappears after restart, told me to call him when it appears again.

That sounds like bullshit to me. The vehicle shouldnt be throwing warning lights and codes for it being cold outside.

Totally agree! Now that I've seen the TSB, the cold theory doesn't work. My build date was 11/21/24, right after it was issued.

I luckily got an appointment tomorrow morning to bring it into the dealer.

When I gave the VIN to the service advisor they said "So why do you need to bring it in for?" even after confirming my information. Can't they see the codes or same warnings I get on the FordPass once they search my VIN?

Then the advisor asked "So what do you think the problem is?" So they could know how long to book me in for...

Lol isn't that their job to find out...

Took delivery of my 2025 Explorer ST day after Thanksgiving with same PSI on all four tires. Adjusted tire pressure once home.

Unbelievable! Do you see any codes in FordPass? I don't have any. I love the YouTube video. Highly amusing!
