Sync 3 to Sync 4 upgrade

Hi, I upgraded my sync 3 to sync 4 screen and APIM. I have prowled the forums to see if I can find some changes in Forscan to make. However, I wasn’t able to have any luck. After running a VIN scan, I see that the APIM is from a Lincoln Navigator. I have made changes in Forscan and have some knowledge of using it, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im having the following issues with the swap;

• HVAC fan speed is only controlled by the AUTO button and not by the knob on the screen.
• Rear HVAC controls are non-functioning.
• Volume is displayed at zero no matter what volume it is set to.
• Fordpass is not working

You need to find a spreadsheet for the navigator apim blocks or get a apim from a f150 that has the 12inch screen. The f150 apim would be more common

Yea... I am kinda meh about it at this point because I've spent so much and now the company is not getting back to me about a return so I may be stuck with this screen and out the money.


I guess that means I can tinker with it more lol

You have the 13.2 or 15.5???? Yeah the other guy had the same issues and the company took forever to respond to him. But he got with jesse that's familiar with for scan and got everything working but he's hard to get in touch with also.

I got the 15 in vertical screen with everything for it. Like it works but I need to program it properly.

Yea I tried to reach out to get help from Jesse but infotainment.com shut me down and wouldn't let me talk to him......

Wow. Yeah thats the one im looking to buy hopefully i can get it for way less then advertised. But for some odd reason he hasn't reached out to nobody. He got the OP on the other forum Sync 4 to work but that's it.

Also how are you hvac controls plugged in from the kit fordsync4 sent you not the oem radio bezel.

They sent me a prototype piece that has no buttons but plugs into the oem plugs
