I have also complained about my ST's sagging sunroof fabric cover to Better Business Bureau and Ford basically gave a generic response that this is not a warranty issue so engaged no further! I also tried the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration but everyone gave me the runaround!!
With so many who are having exactly the same problem it seems worthy of a bit of collective pressure on Ford!! To be honest this is just one of multiple failings on my Explorer!! I am not going to buy another Ford made vehicle ever again... I have a long list of relatively small but ongoing quality issues (rearview camera that was finally repaired 2 years later under warranty, wingmirror memory settings that randomly change, display randomly not showing up all the map settings, front seat trim clips breaking after a year or so... I could carry on!)
