Yep, I was just on my phone and figured just share the photo. Most forums automatically remove the metadata but it didn't do it here for whatever reason.

Love the look even on your car. Had an oh crap moment with an inattentive driver the other day. Not sure I could have avoided her if I had the stockers.

I am currently on day 4 of not having my ST, She went to the shop on Wednesday 1-29-25 for 2 TPMS sensors not working and Rear Defroster not working. First day I get a call around 4 pm that they cant do the TPMS sensors cause they cant find the lug nut socket {Spline drive lug nuts}. I drive to the dealership and with in 15 seconds I locate the socket right where I said it would be. Received calls on Thursday and Friday that the rear glass has not been completed yet. The glass had to be shipped to the dealer, ok fine they got the glass yesterday but they didn't have time, so possibly today I would get it back. Received a call today at 1pm saying well sorry we cant get it done today because the glass is glued in and they can only do the bolt in, so they have to have a Glass company do the work for them, and the earliest they can come is Monday possibly. That's contingent on the glass installer actually being available Monday! I am still under my Gold Certified Warranty and they did arrange a no cost rental for me but I don't like the car I was given. Its a BMW X5, I am sure some folks would like it but its just not something I prefer. its way smaller than my ST and not as fun to drive. Anyway just my little rant. Carry on and thanks for coming to my TED TALK!

Late update but I got my ST back last Monday, they replaced 2 faulty TPMS sensors and reprogramed them, in doing what ever they did they set all my other settings back, so I have to spend 2 mins getting it aal reset. The back glass was replaced and I can confirm it works to defrost like it should now. I checked my Dash cam and I had some footage until they unplugged it. Rude!!!! pretty basic footage, no recorded hot rodding or other nefarious stuff. Did catch a tech compliment my car so that was nice. Otherwise a good dealership interaction.

So what I did to my FPIU, I added the vehicle to my Ford Pass account and activated the truck connection and I was able to connect my phone to the vehicle with the Ford Pass app and now I can use remote start from my phone and have Ford monitoring services for free. Very nice feature.

It’s also nice when you’re in a store and wonder, “Did I lock the car?”. :ROFLMAO:

Or driving away from your house wondering if you closed the garage door. Now I can just check on the app

A couple years ago, I was wandering thru WM and checked out the clearance table. I found three MYQ devices at no-brainer prices. I can actually do what mentioned.

I installed the rear portion of my Traxda lift today. I also installed my Steeda rear subframe bushing insert supports and my JXB, single rear bushing insert, and new 12.9, M14 X 130mm bolt through the insert and into the rear differential.

I will do the front lift tomorrow and get an alignment next week.

Why the need for a "lift". Going off road?

Its what I like. Some like lowering and some don't. The only off-roading I do with it is during deer season. I have lots of other toys for real off-roading. I hate the look of stock or lowered vehicles plus I like the added height for towing. I have AirLift air bags in the rear which help it to not squat when towing and keep it leveled. My tongue weight is near 400 lbs.

I built my truck to where the bed alone is higher than the garage door opening so I guess its my thing, going higher.

How difficult was the install for the air lift bags? I have a set on my 2011 grand cherokee and it was quite a chore. Looking for some rear help with heavy loads.

The Traxda lift is complete. It looks "normal" and how Explorer's use to look years ago, It doesn't look lifted at all. When the tires wear out I will move up to 31.5" or 32" but that is a ways down the road.

Getting the bags inside of the coils is always a PIA on any vehicle so I would say getting them inside of the Explorer coils was normal and not any different than any other vehicle. The real time killer was routing the air lines. If you were to use the supplied Schrader valve and mount it underneath the vehice towards the back, then I would guess that would shave off a lot of time and be pretty simple..

I chose to route the line to the back, inside of the Explorer and add an air manifold block with a gage and a schrader valve. Everything is in the storage compartment at the very back. In the end, because I was doing a lot of thinking with my hose routing and trying to figure out how to get it inside, being in no hurry at all, and being really maticulous with my hose routing and zip-tying, it took me probabubly 6 or 7 hours. Again, WAY longer than what it could have taken me if I were mounting everything outside of the Explorer.
