4-Wheel alignment was done today from the small lift over the weekend.

Friday, I'm getting the front windshield and the front drivers and passengers windows ceramic tinted. I'm going as light as possible (I believe its 50%) because the side dirvers and passengers windows already have a light factory tint. Same with the windshield, I want to cut way down on the UV and heat but I want it to be as light as possible. I always put up a windshield shade in the summer months but this will help year round.
Looks great!

Its what I like. Some like lowering and some don't. The only off-roading I do with it is during deer season. I have lots of other toys for real off-roading. I hate the look of stock or lowered vehicles plus I like the added height for towing. I have AirLift air bags in the rear which help it to not squat when towing and keep it leveled. My tongue weight is near 400 lbs.

I built my truck to where the bed alone is higher than the garage door opening so I guess its my thing, going higher.

They are Kentrol, stainless bumpers. I added (2) 1 1/4" hitch receivers facing down on the front, and (2) at the rear of the truck. Then I made aluminum bracketry to attach to the bumpers, and to go up inside the hitch receivers on the truck to mount the bumpers. The bumpers are removeable by pulling stainless coupler pins. Of course I added anti-theft features to the pins so no one can just pull them and steal the bumpers.

Vossen HF5 wheels. 22/10.5
Michelin Pilot PS4 SUV 315/35/22. I did the calculations and they’re less than 1” different from factory tire/wheel size
Steeda subframe supports
Steeda diff brace
Whoosh diff bolt
CV Fab FMIC
Thermal 3”
JXB drive shaft coupler
Eibach springs
Billet vertical links
HSF oil pan cover
Pennzoil ultra
OEM oil filter

Still waiting on:
FenFab Hot&cold piping
Tial BOV
JXB trans mount
Black badges

The plan is to be under the car once and take the bumper off once

The car has been outside as more and more parts arrived. Needless to say, the wife isn’t happy. I’m hopeing the trans mount arrives this week so I can install everything and get my garage back. I at least need the car lowered to ensure the tires fit IMG_4786.jpeg IMG_4719.jpeg

I am currently on day 4 of not having my ST, She went to the shop on Wednesday 1-29-25 for 2 TPMS sensors not working and Rear Defroster not working. First day I get a call around 4 pm that they cant do the TPMS sensors cause they cant find the lug nut socket {Spline drive lug nuts}. I drive to the dealership and with in 15 seconds I locate the socket right where I said it would be. Received calls on Thursday and Friday that the rear glass has not been completed yet. The glass had to be shipped to the dealer, ok fine they got the glass yesterday but they didn't have time, so possibly today I would get it back. Received a call today at 1pm saying well sorry we cant get it done today because the glass is glued in and they can only do the bolt in, so they have to have a Glass company do the work for them, and the earliest they can come is Monday possibly. That's contingent on the glass installer actually being available Monday! I am still under my Gold Certified Warranty and they did arrange a no cost rental for me but I don't like the car I was given. Its a BMW X5, I am sure some folks would like it but its just not something I prefer. its way smaller than my ST and not as fun to drive. Anyway just my little rant. Carry on and thanks for coming to my TED TALK!
So why dont you GO to the dealer and tgake ur ST back and tell them ur unhappy wikth the whole thing and ur taking the car and for them to call you when the glass company is ready , OR better yet tell the dealer to send the glass company to your house to do the work!!! This is typical dealer bullshit !!!!! Make sure you send in a comp;laiknt!!

Wow, alot of work on that truck ! Do you take it to shows ??? that looks awesome. I had a 2000 dodge ram lifted and stuff done.I had an old blazer that was lifted and the engine completely redone. It seems like the phase of lifting trucks has died in New Jersey ?? , but everything seems to die here ! haha What do you get about 7mpg . Both mine got alittle more so im guessin jur a ligttle lower. But u dont build that to get miles per gallon ! So nice!!!

The Work was under Warranty, I was given a Loaner car under warranty, I was not advised of the Glass repair delay until the day I posted that. I have had the Vehicle back for some time and all is well. I was treated well and the work was completed! I just wanted to share my thoughts and experience! I have a good Relationship with this dealer one that I intend to keep as I upgrade my Explorer I know they will not give me issues. I have no need to poke that bear!

Installed the Turbosmart Dual Port BOV. Compared to the same part on my 23 Raptor, it's much different. On the truck, it's snorting and sneezing all the time no matter how gentle I drive. On this Explorer I have to aggressively try to get it to make noise.

Also replaced my front brake pads with EBC Red Stuff. What an improvement! I was using Power Stop Z23 on my GT350 front brakes, and they made zero dust but we're just ok for performance. I've used Power Stop in the past and had no complaints but wasn't happy on this particular brake setup. Didn't want factory Ford pads as they work well but make a huge amount of dust. Should've went straight to these Red Stuffs as I love them on my Benz E55. Zero noise, big stopping improvement, and just a little bit of dust. Highly recommend for anyone with the GT350 or GT500 front brakes.

Did some fluids and finally put 2 Vibrant resonators on my Thermal.

I loved the sound of the Thermal 2.5 but it got a touch too loud when i put down pipes on. Never would have minded 30 years ago. Anyhow, I’m back to loving the sound again. Took off about 10-15%.

Regarding fluids at 36k miles, just a heads up. Rear differential fluid looked good. Front differential and transfer case came out black. I will likely change those every 25-30k. Less than a qt of lube in each and it appears it takes a beating.

Good info! I’m coming up on 50K and want to change everything. Did you just use OEM fluids or anything special?

Valvoline full synthetic in diffs (90 back, 140 front) and Motorcraft Mercon LV in transfer case. I like the squeeze packs. Rear differential fluid required a hand pump since there is only about an inch of clearance.

Decided to change out the blacked out badge with the black timberline badge. I wanted some contrast and I think the silver goes well with the headlights and fogs. Yes I got the idea from unbroken. IMG_2210.jpg
