They don’t last forever…5 years is a good run I guess. They’re cheap on eBay…any 315 MHz sensor will work.

My ST is in the shop getting 2 replaced plus a rear window due to defective defroster. They don't last forever for sure.

All of mine started going. First it was just a blank for one pressure reading. Had just the one replaced. A week later, get TPMS system fault code B1182 and all pressure readings blank. Manually trying to relearn failed with another wheel TPMS sensor not responding. Replaced that one. System error a day later. Ended up replacing the final 2 and all are good now. 5 1/2 years, 100k miles. It was just time.

Read this thread last week and boom both rears toast. Anyone know how much Ford would charge to replace (only labor)? I have an appointment for the camera recall next week so figured I'd kill two birds with one stone if price is reasonable. My guess is highway robbery but figured I'd ask.

Don’t waste a whole day at the dealership. Any tire shop can swap them out in a matter of minutes.

Last time I called Ford Dealer to replace a TPMS was $160 a tire. Check out Discount Tire. About $60 installed.
