I think I've narrowed it down to either the Nitto NT420V, Bridgestone Potenza Sport AS or the Atturo AZ850 in a 295/45R20.

Has anyone ordered right from the Velgen website before? Seems suspicious to me. All communication was done through texting. They said I would get an invoice in my email but it was just a link to weird site where they want all my personal and credit card info. Does this look right?

Personally, if I can’t talk to a real person and communicating is only done via text, I would move on to a company that has real support.

I paid over the phone a few years ago. Many merchants use third party sites to handle invoice/payment. Just to play it safe, I would call them and confirm the site they use. Probably ok.

I would make sure to use a credit card that has great protection. I've used that a few times over the years and have never lost any money.

I have a PayPal Mastercard that I use and they are great. I've had to have charges reversed before and they are great to work with. I tried calling in but I didn't get an answer. Might not be there on Saturdays. I'm getting the feeling they are a small company like FenFab and just don't have the staff or systems the bigger companies do. So I'm just going to wait until Monday and try calling again. I don't know why this is freaking difficult! Just seems like it's not meant to be! First time I ordered rims and tires from Tire Rack and the order get's cancelled. Though that was probably a good thing. Then the other deals fell through. Now this! I can't catch a break. I did check another vendor but they said they could only gaurantee the bolt patter but not the hub bore size. WTF! How do you sell rims not knowing if they will properly fit the vehicle? I want them to fit right and not have to use rings.

They were closed weekends a few years ago.

Collect checkout appears to be a Merchant processing application by Meridian Bank for vendors to easily send invoices and get paid. I would say 75% likely legit. Given you have been txting, I would definitely call Velgen to verify.

Not suggesting anything suspicious but I have received numerous phishing scams via txt. Never hurts to confirm these days.

It’s legit. I spoke to Renae, his wife, and she confirmed it.

Do you have a copy of the original order showing the correct offset? If so they should correct it at no cost to you. Good luck.

Not only the offset but the hub size is too small. Our hub size is 70.5. That’s some real Charlie Brown shit right there. I thought I had some bad luck but you win that prize! I’m sure it’s a hassle for you but they should make it right.

Yes I do. I text him and he told me that the labels on the boxes were wrong. But, before I put the TPMS sensors in and put tires on them I am going to pull a wheel off and try one to make sure it fits.

If that's the case, you can't trust any of those numbers. YOu better verify the specs yourself.

You spent a lot of money on new wheels from a reputable company and they said ….they sent the wrong box?
Hmmm… double check everything!

I double checked with him and he guaranteed me that they are what we discussed. The labels were just printed wrong. But like I said, I’m going to try one first. I’m not sure how to check the offset though.

To find the offset if it's not stamped into the back of the rim you just measure from the mounting surface to the centerline of the rim and then subtract half the rims width. You would think a company like Velgen would have it on the back though.

This is what’s on the back:

Not very helpful. I measured the hub bore and it’s 70.5mm so he is probably right.
