Saying hello finally. I joined a little while back but didn't post then. I don't have an Explorer ST (yet) but currently have an Edge ST (Ford will be buying it back) and I had a Focus ST before the Edge.

Just saw this post. You're gonna love the explorer ST. Just remember, when you punch it, be ready and hang on. No tune yet on mine. The guys and gals that have 500 hp tune I can't imagine what that must feel like. Hans Solo hitting the hyper drive comes to mind

There is that an the transmission is so much better than what they used in the Edge, it's night and day. I actually have the Livernois tune for the Edge and will be just swapping that onto the Explorer to start. I know there are more options for the Explorer and may eventually change that if I do the IC as well (as long as I like it and plan on keeping it for a while)

Keep checking in here. There are many that have done what you plan on doing and have a wealth of information and how to avoid the land mines.
