I have been reading though some of the post out here about what people have used to tune their STs. And I have seen a lot of post about HP numbers and 0 to 60 and 1/4 times, and that all great, but what im looking for is daily driving impressions once tuned. Im not out for highest HP or fastest 60 or 1/4, honestly I have another car for kind of fun (2016 5.0 with a ford racing super charger), the ST is my daily, and yes I would like to get some more out of it, but want to keep it good for the daily commute and weekends driving my family around. What have you guys found the daily life to be like with the tuning you have done....Thanks

Frankly, its like what the truck should have been like from the factory to deserve the "ST" badge. shift points fixed, gear hunting fixed, more power. i was somewhat disappointed that at launch this truck wasn't a true horsepower competitor to the SRT Grand Cherokee. It is now better than that vehicle in every measurable way (unless you specifically want a V-8).

Who did you use for your tuning. Im considering ZFG or 5 Star or PBD...

ZFG. In my opinion Adam does the most "well-rounded" work with the truck. The HPTuner devices are also the best on the market right now for ecoboost motors.

Adam had replied to am email and gave me the run down on what was need to tune my ST. Im thinking that the way im going to go, just wanted to hear what others are feeling on there day to day with having a tune on their ST

well the cool thing about a custom tune instead of a canned tune is that its just that... custom. when discussing your goals with Adam, tell him you prioritize daily drivability rather than 0-60 times or 1/4 mi runs.

I'm in the same boat. For 60k, I was expecting a lot more out of the ST performance wise. Flooring it from 60 feels like my f150 19 3.5 ecoboost. Was about to pull the trigger on tune but not sure i want to risk it as its a daily driver. In the end it is an SUV. Had no issue tossing turbos on my 19GT but that is not daily.

You could always go with 5star and then buy the powertrain warranty from them as well.
