I just crossed over 1k miles after about 2 months of ownership. I figured i'd share my unbiased thoughts so far.
Likes:
-No trips to dealer for service
-The sportiness of course. It's surprising how quick this very heavy vehicle is. The handling is tight without compromising ride quality.
-The heated steering wheel. It was a take it or leave it thing for me but now after having it i'm not sure i'd ever go back. Could be my favorite feature
-The quietness inside the cabin
-The turning radius! It's tight
-Transmission is smooth
-Seat massagers are nice
-auto wipers and auto brights are working very nicely, usually
-adaptive cruise control and lane assist. this stuff works great
-highway mpg is in the mid to upper 20s
-ride height is good, seats are comfortable
-my kids really like the middle captains seats (and that fact that they recline) and their butt warmers
-the phone sound quality through Bluetooth is so much better than it was in my 2014 Ford Fusion
Learning to live with:
-Slow response time of user interface. It's sorta slow in general but it's really slow just after starting the vehicle up
-auto wipers are sometimes slow to recognize a wet windshield. this seldom happens and only for a brief period after initial vehicle startup
-The foot activated opening of the rear hatch doesn't work great for me. I think I look like a moron swinging my leg around trying to activate it. I just end up using the key fob most of the time
-The download of Satellite content seems to take forever. specifically sports play-by-play and weather maps
-auto start/stop. It's annoying that it's always default enabled when you start the car. however, my around town mpg is much better with it enabled
-city mpg is 14-15mpg without auto start/stop, 17ish with auto start/stop
-sport mode is mostly fun but it can hold a lower gear (high rpms) for quite a while after you stopped accelerating
-The configurable dash. I wish there was more flexibility . for example I would like to have the "sport" dash layout while driving in "Normal" mode
-The lack of a boost gauge. There should be a boost gauge in a twin turbo vehicle
Anyway, overall I love this vehicle.
