Redline Hood Struts

As an alternate to a traditional rivet gun, assuming you have a cordless drill. I don’t own one but I have seen these used and it worked great. There are dozens of brands and prices ranges available. Might be worth a look.

I went for the normal $99 ones, since they aren't something I'll see all the time I did not opt for the sleeves.

FYI...I talked to Brian this past Sunday from redline to add the hood kit to the website $14.99 isn’t bad. Since I had to take my struts off my 2020 ST. Can’t wait to put them back on my 2021 ST.

Bit confused? What is the hood kit? When I ordered my Redline Kit from Amazon everything was included.

It’s the hardware for the hood which is 2 hood brackets and 4 rivers.

I had to do a buyback on my 2020 Explorer ST. And got a 2021 Explorer ST. So I ordered the hood kit so I can install the struts. Since the one that came with it are on the 2020 Explorer ST.

Put a set of RedLine’s on this afternoon. Been sitting on them for a couple of months and felt good enough to get out and do it today.

Happy with mine, but the car should have come with gas struts.

Yes they should have. The Aviator has them. Can’t believe Ford didn’t have that figured out. That said, the 2020’s had lights in the glove compartment and in the armrest what happened to 2021’s?

I have to say, after installing 100's of after-market parts on dozens of cars, these were the best fitment I have ever seen. The quality of the product for the price was outstanding. The directions (included with the product as well as the installation video on the website were on point. Kudos to @WooshMotorSports!
