Lift gate/Hatch issue - need help!

Hey guys, i attempted to close my lift gate last night and something fell and blocked the latch. Ever since then, it wont open or close when i press the interior button or keyfob. All it does is the little jingle. I've pulled the 30A fuse for a minute or so a couple times but no luck. I can manually open and close it but it does provide some resistance which makes me cringe. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix?

Is it under warranty? The dealership is probably your best bet it could be a failing/broken actuator.

Thx Garda and i may have them look at it when i bring it in for some other odds & ends. It just spontaneously started working again after a short drive. So strange.

The first fix for almost any ST electrical issue is time. Shut it off, walk away and give it a little time.
