Finally some action on this relatively lame forum!

I'm close by. If Loki and the racing simulator actually do a race at VIR, I PROMISE I will attend and video it for everyone here. Tune only (drop in filter is fine). If this dude can out-tune Adam, THIS democrat will register as a GQP fascist for the first time in my life.
Adam Brunson of Tune Plus?

…..Only one of a few that have plumbed in an actual in line Ethanol Sensor. ….
Yeah, that's a really tough thing to do . HaHaHa I installed Bluetooth E sensors on the Raptor and Focus RS long ago, one a kit with hardline included and the other I made "custom", but such things don't qualify as "build" stuff. Try again for something "built", not just bought and bolted.

You guys are proving my point over and over. It's fine to do these minor mods because many are good things, but NONE qualify as a "build", just stuff. Semantics, but real.

And yet you still haven’t posted one single “build” picture...of anything...ever. You gloss right over my build challenge....where is something you actually built with your own hands?
See when I do little things like the ethanol sensor and custom vent gauge I don’t just post pics and talk down to everyone else. I list PN’s and answer everyone’s questions to help them do the same things. The wheel specs I came up with for the ST and shared are what damn near everyone is using. I’m about helping out no matter how big or small the mod is. You just run your mouth.

Yep, you’re a legend in your own mind. I haven’t claimed to have a “build” for the ExpST. I specifically did not because bolting shit on is not a build. I can tell there are many members who really like your view of a build, so enjoy them hanging on your member.

I very clearly said ANY car you’ve built. Anything you built with your own two hands. Post it up. My bet is you’ve never actually done anything but talk shit.

Do you even know the actual definition of “build”?

There is a big difference between fabrication and building.

Look, this guy isn't anything but a posturing poseur. Probably a 25 yr old wannabe sitting in his mother's basement, surrounded by pizza boxes and porn. He's also the type that absolutely has to have the last word, so let's all stop feeding the troll.

Surprised that it has taken this long for someone to actually put this into writing. As long as people never meet, high water mark for peeing on the wall is nothing more than a claim that no one need prove.

From the other threads I saw this guy post in he was talking like he might be in the 60 or 70? Don’t quote me on that though. I will say this user is doing a good job on getting on people’s nerves and making others “prove“ themselves. I would say everyone just needs to ignore the person, they will go away once no one is giving them the attention they are looking for. For example, why bash on someone’s else build thread, and then start one and call it a “not” build thread. At the end of the day, everyone responding to this thread needs to figure out if this user is worth their time, if not block the user and move on. A forum is a place of learning and sharing knowledge.

Yep, just move along if you don't like my personality...

It's pretty late here on the east coast, but I just wrapped up flashing my first tune modifications with my new HPTuners software and MPVI2 hardware that arrived today.

The Start/Stop was the first to be disabled, the Grill Shutters adjusted to 100% open most of the time, along with setting the throttle translation to linear in all driving modes. I HATE the boosted or lagging throttle response. A few other tweaks for personal preferences, but no power changes yet.

I still need to test out the "chip your car" doodad before I make any power/torque improvements.

You're really a "broke" tool, you know.

So anyway, the vehicles I've "built" were done long before cell phones, internet, and social media were even thought about. Social media was the parking lot at the burger joint. As such, I honestly don't have any photos of my build work. They were 60s cars. A '64 Chevy Nova, and a '67 Camaro, both "built" for drag racing.

The '64 Nova I got from my Dad after he crashed it into a cow(!). I rebuilt it and drove/raced it for a few years before crashing it myself and selling the carcass.

The '67 Camaro was several years old when I bought it for dirt cheap. It was a bottom feeder 6cyl w/3spd column-shift. I "built" it over a period of 10 years while drag racing it in H Modified Production and countless street races with my own built 268ci 6cyl. Started with a 250ci bored to 258ci (0.120 over).

I built it using 4" bore 12:1 compression TRW forged pistons. I was working at an auto parts store with attached machine shop, so I searched through the parts catalogs to find the best pistons with the right pin height and bore size.

I bought a junked Muncie 4spd from the local yard and built it into what would now be called a "dog box" with no synchros other than on 1st gear. Trimmed about 1/3 of the engage splines out of the shift collars. It shifted like butter at 8k rpms. I installed a 5.13 Zoom gearset into the 10bolt(!) rear axle. I ported the head and installed MUCH larger TRW valves, a Crane camshaft, Melling oil pump, Mallory dual-point distributor and coil, Offenhauser intake with a Holley 650 DP carb, and finally a set of Hooker headers. The power was good all the way to 8k rpm, but the long crankshaft didn't play well the harmonics and required frequent replacement to stay in one piece. Man, this brings back some awesome memories of my youth. I sure wish I did have pics of all my endeavors from back then.

So, buying a brand new, current year vehicle and modding it with simple bolt-on crap is NOT a "build". It's just changing it to suit personal desires. Calling a bolt-on project a "build" doesn't do justice to an actual BUILD of vehicle from crashed or otherwise junked. I suppose if you took the brand new vehicle and stripped it to the bare chassis, installed a cage for racing along with all the required safety gear would be a "build". Otherwise it's just a personal preference "tweaking".

You can call it a build, like you can call a worthless POS criminal dying from his criminal activities a murder, but that doesn't make it one...

We figure out who has the bigger dick yet?
Nah, not measuring dicks, we're debating who has the most photos of dick.

In this case, I definitely lose, but that part doesn't mean dick. Only the current results mean dick.
