Since most folks post problems .. thought I'd add a bit of positivity. We're getting ready to take off on a two week road trip (starting off with a stop at Park City for the Ford Performance Experience next Wednesday) so we needed an oil change before leaving. I also asked them to look at a few minor things that have been bothering me and I'm pleased to say all seem to have been resolved!! We just passed 10,000 miles, and other than these four issues, our ST has been pretty much perfect!!

1). The latest fiasco with Sync update and missing TravelLink ... they cited a newly issued TSB and rolled Sync back to v20136. All is now well with Travel Link functioning normally!! Someone at Ford really needs to improve their update process!!

2). I had noticed some surging and rough shifts at very low speeds, like in a parking lot. They could not find anything really "wrong" with any of the hardware but re-programmed the transmission and ECU with the latest software and it is notably improved. Hope it sticks after the "adaptive" period, but for now ... pretty much perfect!!

3). The tailgate almost never responded to a kick under the bumper and the little warning jingle during operation was absent most of the time. They re-progammed the control module with a software update, and so far I 'm 4 for 4 over the weekend with proper operation.

4.). It had seemed to me that the Auto temp control function was slow to respond when in the mid range ... in other words, when it was hot the AC comes on right away. When it's cold, the heater comes on as it should. But, on a cool but sunny day, it seemed slow to adapt and start blowing cooler air when the cabin was warmed by the sun. They reprogrammed a module with updated software and it seems to be better, although only time will tell.

With these minor issues apparently resolved, we're looking forward to our trip!!

I’ll have to look into my kick for the rear. It never worked for me but then again I just press the remote button when I can and haven’t given it much thought.

Great news! I get mine back sometime today so I’m optimistic.

Have a super road trip, I hear there are talks happening to reopen our border so that means we’ll be able to travel soon too. Bon voyage!

Excellent. I am in Park City now for the event tomorrow. So far so good.

Dinner cancelled but you get two meal vouchers for dinner and breakfast.

Hotel is very nice. More of a resort.
