Ok thanx for the help. one more dumb question..a 9.5” wide rim runs a 295/35 tire?

Start with picking a wheel width...then you can figure offset from there for how you want the wheel to fit the car...further in or out. For OD stay at 30.7” max.
I run a 30.4” tall 305/35 on a 22x10.5 at +30 offset. This is as far as you can push a wheel out and be flush with the fender...and it’s IMHO the perfect fit for these especially with a drop. View attachment 3977
What is the bolt pattern? And would you assume it would be the same on a 2021?

OK, what would a +40mm offset versus +30mm do? What does 10mm do? I am having trouble locating wheels i like that are +30. Most are +38-+40mm.

With those numbers that wheel would be 10mm further inset than a +30. Or just shy of 1/2”. Doesn’t sound like much but it makes a big difference visually. If you’re looking for 10.5” wheels at +30 you’re not gonna find them on the shelf anywhere. That’s a custom offset for people having forged wheels built. You can get real close though, I’ve seen some Vossen wheels at +32 and many at +35. You could also add a 4-6mm slip on spacer to the +35 wheels to bring them out flush. The rear wheels are roughly 1/4” further inset at the top compared to the front...if you really wanna get them even you can set the rear camber to -.5* then they’ll match the front.

22x10.5 +32 offset. Tires are P-zero 305/40. Not lowered, yet. No rub and as you can see the best wheel on this forum.

Love our 22’s. Went 22 when I found out the aviator runs them. The wider wheel makes the stance much better I think too.
what are the wheel and tire specs here?

I pulled that picture off a post I saw from a magazine. I blew up the picture and it looks like they might be stock 275/45/21's. They obviously either dropped it WAY down or made some custom fender flares.

Thats definitely a render you can tell by no depth in the wheels to the calipers.

Definitely going to start pricing out 22" for when I need tires on my stock 20s.. where is the best place to look for rims for the Explorer? Are people going custom are pre-manufactured?

Definitely going to snag the specs of UNBROKENs stance but a different rim style.

This is by far the most perfect stance I've seen.. so I'll be copying the specs of the tires and rim size and offset.. but will grab a different rim.. dont worry my friend haha

Where'd you grab them?

They may have sliced off a half turn of the front springs.
