It’s a 1.25 inch flare out on each side.

With my 315’s having the tire bulge right about 1/4” past the oem fender a 1” spacer would make mine dead flush.

I’m in need of tires so I need to make a decision to stay with 305 or go 315.

And/Or new wheels with +5 offset lol

So is that a definite maybe for you on these fenders?

Another angle. I asked him to not drop it so much either for us to get a better visual since the majority of us have only springs. Tires on these renderings are stretched. Like @UNBROKEN ‘s setup the tires bulge on 305 and 315 is going to look sharp underneath the flares.

How many miles did you get out of those Michelins?

It’s really hard to say to be honest. We have 25K on them now but it’s mainly the rear tires due to the obnoxious snow storms in TEXAS earlier this year and getting stuck in a foot of snow spinning out in a construction zone. Sled right into a 45 degrees ditch. Embarrassing to say the least. That and multiple digs on E50 doesn’t help either.

After I got home!

so…with 305s on 22x10.5 +35 if I’m reading this right current thinking is 1.25” spacers would have the wheel sitting about flush with these?
I run the OEM 21” rims with either all season or winter tires 8 out of 12 months of the year … they would be significantly inside the fenders I think ?
also - any ballpark costing?

1.25 spacer on 22x10.5 with +30 would be flush.

If you have the oem set up you would need rough 2.5 spacer to be flush and that is a lot of spacer.

Cost is going to be roughly 2k before shipping

More renderings with a better angle to show the flare and a better sidewall on the tire. I know we will not satisfy everyone but let’s start getting a head count together. ed048b9b-6732-49ca-9f39-ffe6ddb08724.jpg

If you keep tweaking it into a marshmallow it will look just like the 2013-2019 Explorer Sports.

Hello everyone, I am a potential manufacturer of this body kit. I specially registered here to chat with you and answer your questions. In terms of orders, we need to have 3-4 pre-orders in order to produce this body kit. If you are interested and want to order, please write to your private messages.

Do you have a straight-on side view? Can you add a red one similar to Rapid Red to the mix?

Did some measuring today. The only way ANY spacer is fitting IN ADDITION TO a 10.5+30 wheel is with 305/35r22 tires (a +35 wheel will give you a little more room to play with spacer width). There is a metal backing plate on the rear side (by the door) of the font fender lining that my 305/40r22s almost touch and will prevent any trimming from being done. Any more offset and they WILL touch. so I and others like me are out of the game unless going to a smaller tire size. assuming 1" bigger diameter than stock, that 1/2" in additional radius gives you a little room to play with.

I would definitely be curious what that gap looks like on others with 305s on +30s. For those with stock 21", keep this in mind. the difference in "poke" is only about 1" between you and me, but i was able to run a 1.25" spacer on my 21" without touching the fender lining due to the smaller tire diameter. so a stock street pack 21" with 1.25" spacer can actually sit FURTHER outboard than my custom forged setup due to my tire size. which ALSO means, if I size down to 305/35r22s on my current wheels, I could throw in at least a 0.25" spacer to get some more poke. this ALSO means, that someone who hasn't built wheels yet, could possibly order 22x10.5+25s

if these overfenders can actually make the wheel well opening smaller so there is less gap between the tire and the body, then moving to 305/35s would actually be a good move without sacrificing looks. @Waido can you comment on if this kit reduces the overall opening size of the fender at all, reducing tire/body gap?

Agreed and it’s ONLY renderings … in person is a different story. Most likely looks 10x better
