I went with the Agate Black exterior.

After a few delays with other consumer products, I'm now a bit more concerned that my delivery date has changed to a range of January 4-11. Fingers crossed this doesn't drag out too long.

Latest update is now an ETA of January 28th. Original date of January 3rd. Let's see how long this goes. I was informed there are delays at the border, coming to Toronto/Markham from Chicago.

I'm not sure what an AFE intake is. I ordered an existing Explorer that was manufactured in Illinois.
