OK, so I posted in another thread, but I'm not sure it's getting the views.

I am away from the car for the next week, so I can't try it

But whilst I was changing something real quick, I stumbled upon this:

In here:

I didn't have the time to try it as I was about to head to the airport.

@Blue Beast tried it and says it works.

Can anyone else confirm?

I was outside detailing the Camaro this morning when the retired mech next door wandered by. Discovered he has Forscan :)

This is what I was looking for.

I just put a down payment on an ST Explorer and the first thing I want to do with Forscan is remove the Start/Stop feature.

I also own a Focus RS and I have that feature disabled in that vehicle as well. It's been 3.5 years now with that.
There was a bit of a caveat to disabling it though.
In the RS the start/stop feature was married to the ABS system, so it was a two step process.
In Forescan I disabled auto start stop, and in FoCCCus software I re-initialised the ABS, otherwise the car threw up errors about hill assist and ABS.

So not sure if that is something I would have to do in the EX-ST as well.

@mattastic13 have you had success disabling that feature?

I thought I read that making this change would cause some sort of battery fault error message?

@Blue Beast you're the one I wanted to respond. You used this method and it worked Correct?

I just made the change. Went for a quick test drive and the engine didn't turn off and no faults. Tried in normal and eco mode.

Nice that's awesome.
My EXST is on the way confirmed today, hoping to get it in the next month or so, super stoked.

@ZRX61 FENG is in a different module. The ACM module. It's Enhanced Engine Noise
Is FENG a physical module?
That's what I have on the RS, I just had to unplug a cable and it went away.
Is that the case for the EXST?

No it is software generated and needs to be disabled through FORScan.

Wow! I need to try this! My wife and I can't stand that feature. We are in the habit of pushing the button to turn it off every time we get in, but we still manage to forget 10-20% of the time. lol

Was this newly added to Forscan? I thought awhile back it wasn't an option in there. I don't see anyone even talking about being able to do this over on the official Forscan website forum.

Today my stop start started working. I had disabled it in Forscan. Don't know why stop start all of a sudden started working. Went back into to Forscan and it showed disabled. Had to fall back on my reliable stop start eliminator device.

I was getting ready to disable mine in Forscan and put my eliminator up for sale. I think I’ll keep it now. Anyway, it’s nice to have the option to turn it back on like when at drive through.

I'm glad I keep my eliminator hooked up as a back up.
