From 2021 Ford F-350 Platinum Tremor to 2022 Explorer ST excited!

I’ve been lurking here a while as I’ve been deciding on what to purchase since my wife and I have decided RV life not for us ... I loved the F350 6..7 Powerstroke but the RV is sold so no need to have the pickup for towing. The wife wouldn’t drive it anyways . Test drove the Ford Explorer ST and thought it was excellent . Made the deal today and picking it up tomorrow. Looking forward to some comfortable highway road trips this summer in it. I’ll post pics in a few days. Looking forward to learning lots from the site .

Welcome. I too went from a 2500HD to an Explorer. Was a little worried about downsizing. To date I have been pretty happy with the ST and it’s nice to fit in the garage!

I am new to the Forum. I purchased our 21 Ford Explorer ST right at a year ago and I love it.
We just went to the ST experience in Asheville NC.

My wife would bitch endlessly about how hard it is to get in your truck

I wasn't even "allowed" to drive a pickup until my business NEEDED a 3500HD Dually! Funny thing is after she rode in it on a car hauling venture even she agreed the ride and comfort was pretty darn nice.

It’s not bad actually. I have the factory wheels and tires back on it right now. 12.5mpg around town 16.5-17 on the highway.
