I had a black '95 Lightning . They were faster than the Mustang GTs of that year. Thought it was bad because it had 17" wheels!

One reason I don't think I will ever own an electric vehicle. The sound of a hopped up ICE has been imprinted on my brain since about the age of 4. No matter where I am if I hear a performance car I ALWAYS look. It is just something about that throaty sound and the low vibrations that gets me to the core. IMO there just doesn't seem to be the same level of passion as there was. Don't get me wrong, plenty of passionate drivers, but I also know plenty of kids that don't have a license yet at 22yo and could care less.
