The roof rack is not standard on 2021 and 2022 ST. It is a $250 option to include it.
Okok sorry I thought we were talking about a side rail delete. I’ve seen a few do this on Instagram. Looks wicked. Gives off Range Rover velar vibes.

Congrats Steve!

I dropped the hammer on my ST during the test drive, and about a dozen more times on the way home.

Just to make sure everything was ok, mind you. ;)

Yes, we are talking about just the side rails. They are a $250 option to include them.

Congrats on your ST purchase.
I agree plan to hit the Ford ST Experience as soon as you can. It is a great time, and the Ford guys are top shelf. My wife and I went last July to Ashville. Spent a couple of extra days in Ashville.

I had an experience in my home town. I was cruising this road (hammer down) and a local police cruiser passed me going the opposite direction. He immediately banged a u turn and caught up with me. We went thru the customary process of license, reg, insur, when he came back to my car I was dead certain that I was the proud owner of speeding ticket or worse. I was 40 mph over the posted speed limit of 45.
To my surprise he started asking me all about the vehicle. We talked for 10 minutes and he left me with a warning and some friendly advice to watch my speed.
Great day!!!

2022 Explorer ST picked it up on Thursday. Not even sure where to start. It’s my daily driver with 2 kids seats in the back. Looking to learn from others what some starting areas for performance are.
All depending on how wild you want to go on performance or how much you're wanting to invest, but it seems that an intercooler and ZFG tune will get you the biggest bang for the buck. There are quite a few well written build threads from guys who have done some great work if you want to gather some ideas. That's where I got started. A lot of great information on this forum in general.
