My 2022 has manual second row. What makes you say the manual is an improvement over power? Power just sounds so luxurious.
It does but truly the more things are electrified, the more areas for things to go wrong and fail. Especially when you think kids are using it. They don’t care lol they’ll just slam things etc.

So true, I work with foster kids and for most of them I open my F150 door for them because they just fling it open.

The deal breaker for me were the dealers who were asking over sticker for fully loaded 22 ST's. Mine wasn't and was selling for sticker, so that's the one I bought.

I had massaging seats in my '14 SHO, and as I recall, I rarely used them myself.

I just did a quick check, every single loaded ST in my area is getting shorted on the 2nd row heated seats and the rear auxiliary controls.
Mine was missing this too , got a measly 100 discount :-(

Hi all, I dont think there is anything to worry about…
I bought my 2022 ST - May 7
While mine does not have the rear controls installed, I was given an IOU to have installed when they become available. & Yes, the front seats have the massagers! Just make sure your looking at 401A

Why complain over the things we cannot fix? I blame China and the covid they and the pharmaceutical companies gave us.

My 22 is missing the rear temperature controls and 2nd row seat heaters. It’s also missing the massaging seats. The dealer said these things will be installed when available. The paper I signed estimated the parts would be delivered in 6 months.

Mine too, however I'd check in on the massaging seats. I don't believe they will be retro fitted, and instead you got a $300 discount on the premium package... If you signed two pieces of paper, one is for the climate controls, the other is for the heated seats. I'm coming to terms with the fact I missed out on massaging seats - which was the sole reason I bought 401A and ended up with the poorly implemented 10.5in screen ‍♂️

Still love the thing though, they are awesome vehicles!

I only signed 1 paper for the rear climate controls. I specifically asked both the sales person and manager about the massaging seats and they assured me I will get them retrofitted when parts are available.

The power mechanism was glitchy, sometimes you'd press the button and it would go all the way forward and the backrest would fold properly, next time it would move 3 inches and the backrest would barely move. Sometimes it was smooth, usually it was jerky. With the manual latch, you have control.

As for the wheelhop, if it breaks, it breaks. If it breaks before they come up with a single cheek recall fix, I'll get the proper subframe as Ford should have put in it in the first place.
Or the wiring loom gets stuck in the frame rail.... Ford basically let these sit under the seat not secured to anything with a decent amount of slack (yes I know they have to slide with the seat) and I am guessing when they installed this one the memory it formed made it sit extremely close to the frame and eventually it got stuck and every time we moved the seat it was cutting through and eventually severed two wires.....

I’ll have to look under my seats now. Thanks for the warning.

Perhaps it was designed that way. Saves on additional battery drain.;)

My 22 was built Sept 21 it sat in the factory waiting on a chip all this time, just took delivery on Friday.
I have all those features but still signed the two papers.
Which I assume is just standard business practice at this point if you have them or not.

Why would they make you sign something that says you recognize you are missing items, when in fact your vehicle actually has those items?

No idea, I think it's because the vehicle was sold in June of 2022, but was assembled in Q3 of 2021.
Mind you I did not get the discounts associated with those so yeah.

I mean yeah, you wouldn't get discounts for missing items that were not missing!
Weird stuff going on in the world today ...
