Phone slot mount?

Has anyone found an insert for this slot that you can then add a phone mount to?
Or a phone mount that slides into here?

I have not but I have used the mount in the link below for about three years now. Best $9 spent for a mount. Bracket clips onto air vent and connects to a magnetic sticker that you place on the back of your phone. Super sleek and easy.

Would be cool if we could get a charging base at the bottom of that slot. Easy car play, charging, nice and tidy.

I put my phone in that slot fits perfect. If I need to charge or use carplay I plug it in and still use slot just put phone in upside down. Dont look at phone anyways its on the screen.

I do that as well, but my iPhone is a little thin, so I had to rig something up, so that it doesn't tilt back and forth in the slot as much.

Do you have a case on Iphone? I have a small case on mine but it fits pretty good.

I put my iPhone 13 in there with no issues regarding it fitting... It does however flop forward and backwards which is annoying. If someone comes up with a mount of a fix for floppy phone please let us know...

I had a guy at work have a go with the 3D printer, here is the first prototype ....its a little rough so we are testing other filaments and a resin 3D printer. I will take pics of final version.

The phone holder and goose neck was under $20 but works well after I cut off the suction cup with Dremel tool.

I would just send you the 3D printer file...its done in Fusion 360

You could print the base and grab a phone holder of your choice

Tried Resin printer, the gray one is Resin......and a solid fill on the black one.

Red paint kind of stained the Resin 3D version.

Still cleaning them up but they are getting better.

Finally got a finished product, the Red ST Logo needs some more paint because its shrinking and cracking when it dries but thats only cosmetic.

Surprisingly the vibration of the stiff ST suspension isn't transferred too much and you can actually use the phone in the holder.

I was having trouble getting my account confirmed--it didn't like my email address so I ended up having to use a different one but @Klauerpower kindly forwarded a copy of your file to me. Our library has free 3D printing so I put in an order and got it today. It looks awesome! Now I just need to find a stem for it. Thank you so much for sharing this!
