I’ve got a 2020 ST and when in reverse I can only see about 6-7’ behind the car. I come close to hitting people and misc things all the time unless I look back the old fashioned way. Is this view typical?

Are you parked on an incline? I can see the house across the street with mine.

In these photos the driveway dips down behind me so you can see a bit more than the normal 6-7’. Could you share a photo of yours if it’s a 2020? I haven’t been able to find any online because every search returns the blue screen results.

Seems like your rear camera doesn't have wide angle or isn't aimed right.

Here's my 2020 sitting in my garage and also with zoom activated. 730780D8-1220-480A-961E-8079669FAE61.jpeg 68956916-E253-46C2-B724-F9E5ECF0855F.jpeg

Do you have Forscan? I don't know which module is for the rear camera, but I'd do a reset of Image Processing Modules A & B, before I'd take it to the dealer. Forscan may have logged an error code as well

I had to look that up and just ordered a BT adapter which should deliver this evening.

Re: Forscan. It takes a while to get a windows Forscan setup up and running. I use my phone's Forscan Lite app (iOS in my case) all the time with my OBDLINK MX+ bluetooth dongle. You can do diagnostics and reset most of the modules.

Thank you and I got the same exact dongle. The physical mounting of the camera seems correct and there doesn’t appear to be any way to adjust it. Hopefully it’s just a reset and all is back to normal.

I got the FORScan Lite app and reset Image Processing Modules A and B along with a couple others and nothing. I am getting a U0100 code at the Audio Control Module which doesn’t disappear after reset. Not sure what else to do. Any ideas?

You might try doing a master reset. It's in the touch screen under setting. I don't know if it will help but the only thing you have to lose is your time.

I take it you arent the original owner? Wondering if its always been like that. Is your car still under warranty? Did you have the rear camera recall done?

Also, how is the 360 view? that actually integrates the 4 cameras. from your pic the 360 view is wonky too but i cant be sure. Id also make sure your sync3 is up to date. If you have it updated but have not done a sync3 factory reset, i would do that.

I did the master reset and issue still present. It’s quite laggy not but am hoping that’s temporary.

I’m the second owner and it’s been doing this since day one of ownership. Thankfully still under warranty and I did have the recall done after having numerous blue screen events.

The 360 is indeed wonky as it doesn’t line up. Matter of fact it has a huge blind spot if you stand just behind the car and off to either side of it. Honestly the camera in this condition is more dangerous than not having one.

I’ll reconnect to the house wifi and check for a SYNC 3 update. Not sure how to reset it but should be easy to google.

Thank you for the continued help guys!

The master reset is what resets SYNC. A new update just came out today. If you can't download it from WiFi, Download it to a computer and use a flash drive to install to your ST.

Ohhh gotcha okay. It’s downloading a file now ending in “TAR.GZ” and after a few minutes it turns out that little line underneath the filename is actually a progress bar so looks like this will take a while.

Sadly, a visit to the dealer is in order.

My cameras were misaligned after the recall. The dealer fixed it in about 20 mins. while I waited. Before pic attached. Resized_20220212_113740.jpeg

I have misalignment where the front/sides/rear meet but my dealer did the calibration routine and it's still misaligned. They suggested that maybe my Steeda lowering springs were the issue. Not a real issue though--when parking, I always judge based off front or rear cameras, not sides.
