Morning! We picked up a 2022 ISM on Saturday. Joined to research and learn more about the platform.

A little bit of background, our garage also has a 2016 Focus ST and a 2021 Ranger. I’ll put the info below, but as you will see based on the ST and the Ranger, the Explorer will not sit stock for long.

Focus ST:
cp-e FMIC, charge pipes (HKS BOV), and intake
Velossatech widemouth snorkel
CVF 3” downpipe
Greddy SP exhaust
JST tuned with Cobb AP
fifteen52 Chicane wheels

2021 Ranger
Mountune FMIC and charge pipes (Turbosmart BOV)
aFE intake and scoop
Velossatech widemouth snorkel
Morimoto LED headlights
Ford Performance tune (for now)
have 3” CVF downpipe and 3” MBRP exhaust in the garage ready to go on once I decide on custom tuning

I like to do all the work myself, so I’ll keep a build thread going as I dive into the Explorer. I have already ordered a JLC oil separator and a FitCam dash cam. We are going to try and get the windows tinted this week, and once I do some more research and read about the changes between the 2021 and 2022 models, I’ll start ordering parts. Probably staring with FMIC and charge pipe, intake, and exhaust. Then once we have the cars first oil change, downpipes and tune. Should be a good time, and I’m looking forward to seeing what this version of the ST can do

Welcome and looks like your new ST will not be stock for long.

Went on a ski trip, put 850 miles on and hit 4 states. Handled everything like a champ, here’s some post-trip pics covered in salt and snow residue. I sprayed her off good (including the undercarriage) right after these pics.

Also, when we got home, all this was waiting…I’ll start my build thread when the rest of the parts arrive.
