Hi I know there was a thread on this 2 years ago but it had no conclusion and Im experiencing the same problem. When I press or let off the brake i can hear some kind of electronic or pressurized noise. This also happens when i accelrate out of the auto hold brake. I took it to dealer and compared with the st i test drove and it was doing it as well, though not as loud. Dealer says its an actuator? Does anyone know if I should be trying ti get the dealer to fix this? Or does anyone else know what this is?

It is normal. It made the same noise when ABS activated on ours.

it's the auto-hold system you can turn it off if it's annoying

Technically the auto hold defaults to off, you would have to turn it on.

Auto-hold is one of my favorite features and it's my first vehicle with it. Now when I drive other vehicles it seems such a pain to have to keep your foot on the brake pedal at red lights. LOL

Interesting how we all have a different point of view with this feature. I am not a fan of it because it prevents me from a low speed crawl which I do surprisingly often.

At least I am not alone. It is hella annoying though. Especially when my 16k kia is silent for night driving

Oh its everytime i press it. Do i bring it back to dealer and push them to do something? It cant be ABS or the auto hold. Like I said its even when car is off. Doesnt matter how light or heavy I am on it. It sounds like gears engaging, similar to how the parking brake sounds coming on

I'm running into the same exact thing. Did you get yours resolved?
