There are plenty of 2023 ST's on dealer lots in my area. Not sure if it would be necessary to order one at this point.

Nearly impossible to fine the Carbon gray with the interior appearance package. So I wait.

Chances are there are QA issues and the vehicle was taken back to the line to be fixed. Your dealer should be able to see it's actual location.
They Defiantly Might have taken in back into Line for issues , Due to 1 Bolt Subframes and malfunctioning Tech are the main reason for Recalls to Factory Lines. Dealer will know more info on that forsure

Has anyone heard about any Job#2 delays or changes, wasn‘t sure if there any current build constraints?

Anyone else’s early May build being held (after being built) due to the camera recall/stop sale order??

1422 miles. Late March build. Horrendous that’s it’s an issue four years in to a production run.

I completely agree, I just can’t understand why after 4-years into this production cycle and 4-years of camera issues and recalls they still can’t seem to get this to work correctly, and now a stop sale order?! [SMH]

When they eventually fix it they should work on improving over the Windows 95 load up spread when changing screens or starting up in general. I’m 125ft down my driveway before the screen is functional.

I'm in same vote as well "in Production" May 5 and still waiting for Shipped status. I know the vehicle is more or less done since there is power to the computer/GPS but that's all that's know at this time.

Yes, same here! “In production“/blend date was May 1, according to my dealer it was built on May 2, then it was placed on a “scheduled hold” and moved to a holding yard at the Factory on May 2nd, so still shows “in production” since build hasn’t been completed. They have no ETA on when it will be completed, etc.

My dealership said that for my Feb 15 order, the build start date will be Aug 14. I figured at the going rate they'd just want to roll it into a 2024 model. If I remember right, actual build is 2-3 months.

There haven’t even been details on the 24. There have been leaks but that’s it. I would expect something more this summer.

Right, I just wasn't sure where the line was where they stop making a model year in favor of the next model year. Apparently it isn't 'too late' so far.

Yeah I forget when orders were closed for the last few years. I think it was always end of summer because nov always started production of the next year.

The stop sale order where did you find that info? And do you know why the order was issued?

Yesterday I received my third 45-day email update from Ford; Thank you for being a valued Ford customer. We wanted to update you again on the status of your Explorer ST order. While we initially predicted your vehicle build would begin week of May 1, 2023, the supply chain challenges we’ve been up against are still causing delays in production that are beyond our control. …

What?! So wait, they blame “supply chain” for their 4-year 360-camera debacle? Obviously these emails are just canned automated BS.

No Ford!! My Explorer ST was built May 2nd, you’re holding it (stop sale) due to the 360-camera recall issues you’re having, honestly a little transparency would be appreciated by your customers.

I (finally) received my VIN and build is supposed to start Aug 7. Original order was Feb 15 (they claim Feb 9). Will be interesting to see how this all REALLY goes. It, too, is supposed to have a 360 degree camera.

Can one imagine the day the camera recall is fixed and then ford has to ship all the units on hold??? That will take weeks or months. Why not ship (release) the st now to the dealership and have the dealership be ready for the fix!
