Driving on Sand

Has anyone taken their ST on the beach as I was curious on how it performed? Any feedback, thoughts or views would be appreciated. I put on 20 inch wheels which hopefully should perform a bit better.

Thinking about taking my ST to OBX (North - Corolla) this summer. Thanks

Depending on where you get on the sand matters. The time I went I saw an entrance that was real soft and since I ride on Steeda springs my ST is lower than stock. I saw a FWD car with the front fascia torn off from bottoming out. That and my complete lack of trust in Ford to provide any proper measure of rust protection will keep me on pavement. Just my .02 worth
