Thank you! I'm hoping there's a strong following here locally for the ST's. I'm coming from a VW Tiguan R-Line and there was so-so following for local VW groups. They use to be a dime a dozen out here but in more recent years the VW groups have dwindled.
My build is apparently among the first off the production line with fixes / updates. So it's eligible to be sold whereas I guess the current builds are on recall and cannot be sold. What is this whole subframe bolt situation I'm reading about. I keep hearing 1 bolt is bad, 2 bolts is okay, but then I've heard mention of 3-4 bolts?
Anyone want to make sense of that for me, so I know what to check just in case?
Well thats gotta change lol. If all goes well I'll have delivery between 17th-23rd this month and post up here and maybe see if we can get some ST owners out to some meets. Stanced, Neglected, No Names etc all host open build meet ups in our area which are good turn outs.
i think its more that they have become less active on the forums after they got all they need out of it. Id be happy to be part of a meet or whatever also ive done all of the work on mine myself. i just got to get the balls up to do the springs.

1-2 bolts refers to just the rear mounts on the diff. 3-4 refers to all the mounting bolts holding the diff. Same thing... should be 4 total, most coming with 3. Several discussions going on about it.
