See if Blendmount makes something….they’re the best mount on the market.

I use a Blendmount in both of my vehicles and they are worth the money.

I used the uniden hardwire cable and fuse adapters to tap into the fuse box on the left side of the dash. I mounted the remote mute button on the fuse box cover, then ran the lines up the pillar and tucked it into the headliner with the radar detector to the right of the mirror so it’s out of the way. I can take some pictures if you’d like to see.

I have an adhesive windshield mount for my R7 and mount it up high. I feel like a rearview mount is too conspicuous for both police and thieves.

I use an adhesive mount but will probably pick up the Blendmount. The 3M adhesive warps in direct sunlight and I've found my DFR9 on the floor many times and having to re-tap the mirror power after it's ripped out is a pain every time.

It’s 3M VHB. My mount is plastic and it stopped adhering to it. Weight of my DFR9 detector is too much for it. I just bought the blendmount for $170 shipped. Though I can afford it, I can’t justify the cost of a one trick pony.
