If I'm not mistaken, some of the very first 2020's were delayed during shipping due to trans issues.

Does it do so from a stop? There is nothing magical about Sport mode. Exaggerated throttle response. Faster shifts. Dash display changes. Nothing really mechanical.

I'm new to all this, bere with me,lol. We had it in park ,hit the mode button and switched to sport and it grinded. All other modes were fine. We are also gonna call the dealer, may just take it to them. I'm so worried,I absolutely love the vehicle and don't want to mess anything up or have issues

Nothing to be worried about. One way or another it will get fixed. Definitely not right.

My ST does the same thing if switched while in park I took it in and Ford said they found nothing and the other 2 STs on the lot did the same thing. However nobody else I've talked to says their ST does it. Please update what you get told after you take it in.
