... I knew the tune would void the warranty on anything drivetrain related. The service manager told me that even the oil catch can could be a reason to deny service. Good thing about the extended warranty is I can take it to any shop that has ASC mechanics.
I can respect you because you understand the severe warranty risk people take with 3rd party tunes.(y)

I can't respect those who foolishly choose to remain in abject denial about their warranty voiding 3rd party tunes.(n)

Denial about warranty? Shit…I’d buy without a warranty at all of it made the car cheaper. I void warranties for a hobby. lol
This guy has become comic relief for the site. lol

Another example of the FP tune silencing the ignorant whiners.

The 0-60 and 1/8 mile times on my FP only tune ST are identical to this guy's test of a Durango SRT 392.

Both retain their 3/36 engine warranty, but the Dodge costs $25k more. Great win for the FP tune.

Explorer ST FP Tune ... 0-60 4.76 sec | 1/8 8.39 sec @ 82.25 mph
Durango SRT 392 ......... 0-60 4.76 sec | 1/8 8.37 sec @ 82.37 mph

You stupid retard. The Ford Explorer comes with a 5/60 drivetrain warranty. So what did you retain. Go back under your rock.

I honestly don’t think he’s blocked anyone…he’s too narcissistic. I guarantee he just has to know what people are saying about him.

The only reason I reply to his crap any more is hoping to prevent newer members from swallowing his lies.

Was gonna say this LOL it actually lost warranty by getting the FP tune haha

The Durango also has a 5/60 powertrain warranty, not 3/36. Dude is just full of himself.

Great read from FP on their tunes vs. 3rd party offerings:

ProCal - Performance Calibrations
https://performanceparts.ford.com/procal/

There's a reason why owners still retain your warranty with FP, and why they lose it without them.
As long as people recognize that, fine. It's your $$ and your warranty, do what you want.
But let's remain real about this.

Except they don’t retain their warranty as pointed out by others numerous times. Hey but keep looking like a fool, we enjoy it.

Yep, the Ford site description of “ford performance engineers” is pure propaganda for idiots who don’t know. They don’t know how much they don’t know because, well they believe the propaganda. Anyone with actual hands-on experience in building, tuning, and operating high performance vehicles knows that it’s propaganda. Only the ignorant keep repeating the propaganda.
