Purchased ST in 2022 after determining my V6 Grand Cherokee was not a capable tow vehicle for 4000 lb NB RV trailer. Added gas hood struts, Whipple Intercooler, Ford ProCal tune, black aluminum mesh (Amazon) behind the grill to protect Intercooler, dash cam, roof rack, cargo mat, and Air Lift kit (not a fan of equalizer hitches). Towed trailer to Park City, UT for Ford Explorer ST SUV Experience… great tow vehicle…50% greater interior space (153 cu ft) over Jeep GC (105) and zero difficulty on hills.
I was a Ford fan in my teens (‘79 F-250) and still am. Goes like a bat out of …. Complaints? I wish it had greater fuel capacity…there’s room on right side. View attachment 20693 View attachment 20694 View attachment 20695
