So, I've seen a recommendation to remove the 4 screws on top, gently pry the grill out and use two 2×4 blocks to keep it pried out. I just did my front Ford Badge that way. Worked fine, and I'm a big guy. Actually, I used doubled 5/4 boards, so I had an extra half inch. But, again, it worked simple enough. Just be careful of two issues. One, pry gently, I didn't break my grill but was nervous as Hell and Two, watch the camera cable as you slide the boards in. I bought the OEM badges. Oh, I found it easier to use a ratcheting flex combination wrench rather than a socket wrench on those stupid cutting nuts. I also threaded them on the new piece before I put it on to make it easier to start with the wrench. Start threading, then remove.
