I know there's a post here about ASS.
It was found on an F150 forum and has been used by someone here for about a year now. He updates the thread to bump and update us this wrrk IIRC.

I got the spreadsheet from livingitup
Will be putting some common codes in it this week once .
But no more fake engine noise
Auto stop start disabled
And fogs with high beams
Are all done now
The pics are tow haul and sport
Notice tow haul has eng temp, real tach, and Trans temp.
Sport has tack and temp but no Trans temp or boost
It's in the IPC, so some digging maybe we can figure it out. Display eng Temps and Trans in norm as l screen
And maybe numbers on those , like we did in the f150

I would like Tow/Haul dash in all drive modes except sport.
Temps displayed with numbers. Oil,water,trans.
Map pressure (boost) , IAT
Gear position.
turn off the fake engine noise.

what other magic is hidden in this thing?

The IPC I dont know that we could arrange in forscan.
I've heard the "pimpmyford" allows you to reprogram IPCs so they look conpletely different etc, but I havent looked into it.
Someone used a 2019 Explorer Platinum IPC to make a baddass 80s Nissan 300zx digital cluster.

I believe the issue is that there is no predefined template with all those things.

My thought process similiar to my f150
"It's in there" we just have to dig it up
I have glare free headlights which was loaded, but not enabled in22 ..but it is now
The cluster has the ability at least to display
The Trans and eng temp. So this is a start

Trust me - if it's able to be utilized, I want it done.

I will try to post it here. Today
Sort of letting it get QC look as it were from him. I don't want to put a sheet out with errors or confusing info

I'm following this too! I'd love to be able to run Tow/Haul as my 'normal' screen. IF POSSIBLE.

I hate the normal screen for it's lack of ANYTHING mostly the stupid rpm 'ramp' we get. So dumb.

Tow / haul is the way to go for me, I just don't like the gear shifting of tow/haul. Also if possible to 'default' to a mode (instead of normal/sport or such).

i agree , i drove yesterday about 20 miles in some stop and go with tow haul on
it was great and plus the down shift vice braking imo was a plus
i doubt we can do the tow haul to be the primary screen except if it asks to continue this setting at each start, you could just select YES

for some reason this site wont support attaching excell files, so i have to adjust

that one is ok, but it is missing some updates
the one john livingitup has made has updates from this week i did
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...ukfkgBqYkDE2w8imywaNF8VJF8/edit#gid=671029316
Is this ASS that you have listed the one that makes the vehicle think the steering wheel is moving? That is what I did and have not had a single instance of start stop occurring since (over 2 months now).
This spreadsheet is great...for US ST guys - other thing I would really be interested in trying to figure out is if there is access to the ignition count/key cycle. I've searched around and some say that forscan light or some other OBD2 app can show the count. IF that is so, we should be able to edit it...would be my thinking. I just haven't been able to find info on that. :(

Thanks for this!

in the PSCM file , forscan will enable or not enabled as the code goes. in the master sheet the code is enabled or dis abled by that number
or you can turn off an inhibit with steering. i used the simplest method the turn it off
you get an icon on IPC with a line through it and the start start button light will come on, at times if your stopped, but it does not turn off engine

as far as key on cycles..its in forscan in the data log area. you can read or look at in real time every parameter the vehicle is using or stores

What's funny is on the premium 18+ mustangs they got a 12" digital cluster and they have 3 different gauge displays, normal, sport, and track. Ford lets you leave it in auto to change with the drive modes, or you can pick one and that will be be your default gauge screen. If ford can allow that on a mustang, why can't they do that on the explorer?

Great question
The same IPC is in f150 as well
And escapee and lincoln cups
It has much potential as it's basically a computer display.
I am new to explorers
But f150s etc are very very familiar
So I am applying that education to work on tye explorer...you know a new hobby

Our gauge display is one I've seen not only on Explorer but also the Escape, Focus, Puma, etc. that are available in other countries as well since 2020 model year. I think ours was their global graphics display at the time for their mainstream models. F Series pickups and Mustangs don't share much with those other models it seems. I remember after my 2020 ST, Ford gave the entire Bronco line and Maverick unique gauges too.
