Active Shutters Stuck Open

I forgot to plug in my active shutters after having the front fascia off. I realized this after firing the vehicle up and getting a bunch of codes. So I took the fascia off again and plugged everything back in. Ever since then my active shutters have been stuck open and making a popping sound because they’re trying to open more but are already in the open position.
Does the position need to be recalibrated? Or is it just a coincidence they stopped working the same time I had the front fascia off? Other than the harness I did not touch the active shutters.

I would unplug them
Close them flat
Reconnect
Start car and see if they cycle correctly

How would you go about closing them? Any time if reached through the grill and attempted to close them it’s like they get locked in place.

If they are stuck open..maybe a linkage is jammed
