Are there any other changes that can be done to begin with outside of what's already been posted here?

Not sure how limited the PLC is for the Explorer's

Shoot me a PM of what has been found and we can go from there!

SIDE NOTE -- I have unlocked a new FORScan change and made a thread about it. For those interested, take a look!

Hi all, thanks for all the work on the spreadsheet. This may be something of a newb question but when I open the software I dont have an IPC tab listed? Is this a file issue or setting I need to dig into? I saw in the IPC part of the sheet that there were the bits to enable gauges like Mustang/F150/Raptor but I dont see a way to load the 720 line items? Thanks in advance.

I meant that when I looked for modules while connected I couldnt find the IPC listed for some reason. I am not sure if I need to load an addition al configuration file to have access to it? I am used to Opensource programming in Japanese cars where its common to have to add or patch software so I was wondering if this was a similar thing in order to find the IPC list.

thanks

Exit programming, relaunch, allow forscsn to download everything before selecting programming
Then give it time to download all the modulrs
sometimes it looks done but its still querying the modules.
Try under asbuilt dialog box
When you select programming
And is your free license or paid license up to date

Thank you for the tech tips. License is paid and fresh, I will connect to it and let it go thru everything like you outlined and report back.

Also to be sure to update your FORScan software on FORScan's website. They have updated the FORScan public version to a newer one recently.

Just got back to this over the holiday and still no luck getting the IPC to show up. I am wondering if it is related to the cable I have, or maybe that was incorrect conclusions when I was reading other people's issues. I have both the Forscan labeled one and a Tactrix J2534 cable. Is there one that is known better than the rest? thanks.

Hey John!

I believe it may be the cable, and thanks for the cable you said you have! I highly recommend the popular OBDLink EX, which is 100% better for FORScan. A lot faster; it's tried and true!

If you are in US: OBDLink EX - Amazon US
If you are in Canada: OBDLink EX - Amazon Canada

Thanks Nightgshade and Powerboatr for all the work you are doing and posting for forscan updates. Much appreciated. Looking forward to trying them on my 25 when it gets here in early Aug.

Youre very welcome! Glad to hear! I also have a 25 ST incoming as well and will get started on that one as well as soon as it arrives in!

How do you find performance details screen in mine? Does it have to be coded or is it a screen to select??
Sadly you cant..
It's in the system, but our IPC is missing the coding to display it.
You can run forscan in data log screen and select every thing to watch
But driving with a laptop in the passenger seat is a bit unwise
Common sense would say..Ford built an st model.. put it in there at least in sport mode.
