There are a couple depending what you're looking for. If you search brake upgrades or big brakes there are tons of write ups on people that have installed them. Are you running the Street Pack with the 21" wheels? What are you looking to get out of the upgrade?
Looking for upgrade on street driving, towing, racing?
If just street then you could up your game on the pads. Any other 'upgrades' you're talking about a brake kit, then you're talking a huge upgrade.
Do you have the street pack with the upgraded pads and wheels? Don't know if your'e going to see much of a diff to matter without goin for a full conversion. Again depends on what wheel and brake package you have.
Every single one is available on the stock wheel. gt350 brake swap, gt500 brake swap, trackhawk brake swap, Rotora brake kit, and super forged brake kit.

I'm looking for a mild upgrade, dont really think I need it just want it, dont want to buy new wheels or use spacers, would like it to fit on the PIU wheels too

Superbugs and Rotora brakes don’t require new wheels but won’t fit with PIUs wheels. Only brake upgrade with PIU wheels would be a simple rotor and pad upgrade with stainless steel brake lines.
He said he's looking for "fade resistance and the ability to run stock wheels." I've run these in the past on other cars for auto cross so I can personally say this will get him what he wants. Or he could look at some EBC kits. Nobody specified replacing calipers was a necessity.

Plenty of independent tests on rotors like that and “upgraded” pads the show even worse performance than properly functioning oem brakes. I’ve tested them myself on past vehicles and seen zero improvement in braking distance or fade resistance. Some of them look cool….thats the extent of their usefulness.

I would agree with this 95% of the time. There are however some instances where a pad change can improve performance to some degree. I had full sized GM suvs for about twelve years. Brakes were underwhelming but I didn’t want a big brake kit as I was on business 3 year leases. I ran an upgraded EBC pad and cry-treated oem rotors. Maybe 10-15%better braking with less longevity. I felt it was worth it for what I spent.
Not aware of any true upgrade pads for the ST. Since I retired and put much less mileage on my ST, like you, I went with a bbk which is a SIGNIFICANT improvement in braking.
I know this thread has been dead a while but I didn't want to start a new one. I did a search on here and couldn't find much about brake pads. I don't have the street pack and I am wondering if there are any better brake pads out there than what I'm finding on Google? Mostly OEM, PowerStop and Detroit Axle. I did come across one oddball, Magma Pro-Series. I have used PowerStop in the past but I'd like to get somewhat of an upgrade if there is one. I checked EBC but they don't list anything for the ST. Only the Base, Hybrid and Platinum. I'm eventually going to upgrade to either the street pack or BBK but just need pads for right now. Will the pads for the Platinum fit my ST?

Yes, as long as you don’t have the street pack. But no, no pad performs better than the stock option. Maybe a little less dust but performance wise there would be no difference.
Really? I would have thought EBC, Bendix, Brembo, etc, would be an upgrade. If that's the case then what a rip off! Motorcraft pads are like $80 while the others are going for $100-$150! Thanks for the heads up!
