Did you put the dynamat (silver part) on the rear of the Skid plate?
yes two 3 inch strips to see if it will reduce the TING noise from driving and stuff bouncing off it
we have horribly ROCKY road surfaces the pea gravel in the asphalt the last few years here is beating the crap out of the bottom of our cars
It's actually made by canopus
It's very less costly than dynamat
So it's sacrificial
I was going to put it on the other side of the plate, but space is a premium and I wanted to make sure it didn't melt or have any unforseen issues
It may be un needed .only a few drives will tell
My hearing is shot at certain frequencies
Except those high pitched tings or rattles
So I try to mitigate as much as possible
I will say the explorer is a whole lot quieter than the edge , but my f150 is really quiet
Been playing with the anc and fake engine noise settings to take advantage of the tech..but anc and fake engine are tied together, but I have stumbled on a possible best of both works scenario
Will put it in forscan sheet after more testing
