I know this has been out for a while but had anyone seen this? Valvetronic mufflers that open and close by remote.
You can even program your garage door opener buttons to control it. Go from docile to aggressive sound at the press of a button.

Yah it’s been out for quite a while. In order for it to work though, you got to have a shop weld in different exhaust outlets. It’s not worth it, and IMO Thermal sounds better especially with downpipes.

Stay tuned - the install on mine is Tuesday 7/2. Thermal is great and so are others, wanted to try something different and see if there is a way to have a quieter option while still having downpipes.

OP - I am adding CVfab catted downpipes, keeping the mid resonator and adding the valvetronic with a custom connection pipe. Send me a DM and i’ll send you the video next week.

Yes agree but there are a few different versions. There are two different setups that have been on the black ST in that video. Mufflers only and then SPD downpipes and custom X pipe to the mufflers. I think it sounds great but wanted it quieter so the mid resonator is staying. Picking mine up in a few hours and will post sound clips.

Looking forward to an update to this including some pics of the install. I too would like to go this route.

There has to be a way to connect this thing to ST so that it automatically opens the exhaust when you put it in Sports mode or you are above a certain RPM. This is the way my Audi RS5 functioned and would be nice to have this on the ST.

I have spd down pipes custom 3in mids (seller didnt ship them with the dp's) with an x pipe to valvetronic mufflers. Sounds raspy with valves open but at wide open throttle sounds pretty decent. Low revs in neutral can really hear the turbos an sounds good. I would like to eventually get the 3" thermal. @Cajun Heat if you want some vids dm me and i can send them.

I have the 3" SPD DP's with Thermal 3" exhaust and love the way it sounds! Not too loud if you're just cruising but get's aggressive when you get on it.

I just installed my three inch Thermal exhaust today - CVFab catted DPs and Im in love. I will have a few more vids and comparison vid soon. Rained like hell today so I couldn’t film the back to back comparison yet.
