Seems like when Ford updated the Ford Pass App it's not nearly as good as the previous version. With the last one the location would update as the vehicle moved but with this one it doesn't seem to update nearly as well. It shows my vehicle as being "on" but the location doesn't update until the vehicle is stopped and turned off. Anybody else notice this or is it just a problem I'm having?

Yup...mine to
The f150 is almost real time location
And the explorer seems to be anywhere from 20 minutes or longer before it shows change of location. I have almost been caught with my girlfriend being at my house as wife arrived...poor girl broke a leg last time jumping out of the 2nd floor window. Plus she damaged the roses..
Just kidding
But yes the update is fraught with dumb down
Now fuel shows percent vice range??
I can unlock snd lock and remote start
So I know it's talking to the world via cell
No reason location is so lagging

If my math is correct. That's 2.9 gallons of fuel left
Is that 2.9 usable fuel or fuel quantity??
I am using 23 ounces per a percent
But dte in IP says 70 miles dte??

I agree with you, less information, much more difficult to navigate, less responsive, poor cellular connectivity.

i got fuel this morning had less than 40 miles to empty
put in 16.03 gallons, so i say the % of fuel on bard was pretty accurate, compared to miles to empty
might grow on me

I have not done the update yet, but mine seems to only update the location when the vehicle shuts off and turns back on, such as at a red light or stop sign.

Got an update to the Android version today. It now shows both the fuel % and miles to empty.

IOS app updated to show both % as well as miles to empty. I like it better with both now.
