I understand that, my point was ford has the ability and know how to allow you to choose a default screen on your IPC, they choose not to, except on the mustang.

Yup. Big time
You may not want see my 150
We havevthe unreal engine enabled in tye center stack. IPC is really nice
And now the super duties have one with even more selectable items and views

I have glare free headlights enabled on my 150. Life changing for dark night driving

Explorer has adaptive led headlights

Soooo. There is no reason glare free is nor possible in 23 24 models .
Imo

They're not adaptive on my 2020 ST just auto-highbeam. Maybe adaptive only on the Platinum and Aviator. My 2010 and 2013 MKZ had adaptive headlights which swiveled with the steering wheel direction. Kinda cool but I don't really miss that. The only time I wish I had it is on a really dark exit or entry ramp. I also don't miss the adaptive suspension. It was kinda gimmicky.

As stated, only the Platinum and KR have the adaptive LED headlights. They're also projected LED's, so they're a bit brighter vs the ST/rest of trim's headlights.

I was wondering why some FORScan things weren't working on my 24 LARIAT. Thank you to all the people who take the time to make the spreadsheets. It is really appreciated. To show my gratitude, here's the shop manual for the 2025 Explorer and the 2024 F150.

How bout 23s explorer
The common items on 25 forscan
Can only be populated once we get feedback from 25 owners
Nightshade I sm sure is already knee deep into it, as his 25 is due anyway
Then the as built files will be compared and add in the new 25 infotainment system
Lots to be done
Forscan forum and developers also bust tail to add in new vehicles

The grouping of restore write
Iirc is based on module group
It will write whatever you changed in the group.
The checksum error is pretty normal changing not normal as built sequences
If it all works OK. Please report back in pm
All you changed and codes used. So we can build common or adjust common to include 2025 items.
I will say killing the fake noise, does kill noise canceling and does make vehicle noise noticeable, especially on rough asphalt

If the spreadsheet is correct, it looks like my stock value of X2XX has noise cancelling (ANC) disabled, and only ESEPS enabled in that group.

The value of X4XX would turn on ANC and disable ESEPS, but if ANC isn't on by default would it even work correctly?

On a different note, do you know where the number of blinker flashes is mapped?

It looks like F-150 has it in SCCM: 724-01-01 XXXX X*XX XX

But on the '25 Explorer spreadsheet, that location is "SCMHdlpWashOnTime_Cfg........"

Yeah it would be great if all Ford vehicles used the same location for the same function, but alas it doesn't.

Usually because the vehicles don't have identical functionality. The function may not be included.

Yes 4. Or 5 may work
Actually .. despite the numbers leaving active noise canceling ON, amd engine noise off, will by default in the B O. System turn off active noise canceling
This has been worked. Reworked expiremented etc in prior models
But as a 25 model
You are the test mule.
If you dr8ve with car in as built form and take some decible readings
Then turn off engine noise , but select noise canceling on. And then take another drive same speed, same everything and get lower decibels then we may be able to determine if this 2025 vehicle allows no engine noise, but keeps active noise on, as in the aviator
Remember many of the selections are lincoln only, as it has different module programing we can't change, even though we can see the path.
The center cluster for example
This is why folks with 25s should document very well what they find and or change so that information can be shared accurately
I wish I coukd go sit in a 25 at a dealer and test changes
I am going to carve out some time this week to really compare 24 to 25 module information
Nightshade is doing this as well
Iirc his 25 is inbound
Please post up what you find works
As a side note.on my 23 I turned engine noise back on, so noise canceling works
Our high traction asphalt roads create quite the drone
And now it's mitigated to a tolerable level
In my 22 f150 engine noise off has not effect on noise canceling and truck is very quite inside

I have a 2025. We could setup a Remote Session to my Laptop and you and @Livnitup can try out some mods. Couldn't hurt anything. I have FDRS and the Mongoose Adapter now, so no fear, LOL!!!!

I will pass on remote session, I am only just inside the wheel house, steering the ship is above my skill set at this time

I am but a humble cog in this journey

If it was an airplane, easy

Jessie or livingitup may
You would just need to correspond with them

Cool, I tagged him in this post, so if he's interested, I'd be happy to help. I operate an IT company and could easily assist with this if they would like.
