2025 ST Power Folding Side Mirrors

I have the power folding mirrors turned off through the infotainment screen. Still, they fold in when I lock the vehicle through the key fob and of course unfold when I unlock it. Does anyone elses do the same thing?

Hmm.. so what are we turning off in the screen since they still fold in when you lock it- WTH!!

From Manual:
Switching Auto-fold On and Off

1. From the settings menu, press Vehicle. See Center Display.

1. Press Mirrors.

1. Switch Autofold on or off.

So.. I just called the dealer about this issue. The Service Adviser did some digging into the problem and it turns out that it is in-fact a software issue that Ford is aware of regarding the folding mirrors on the 25's and not being able to turn them off. Apparently it is a software glitch and Ford expects a solution within this 4th quarter. I also swear that at times they haven't folded in when I lock it so it is hit and miss as to if and when they fold in or not. Imagine that, Ford and software issues.. nooooooo way! (sarcasm).

I'm like a broken record by repeating this so many times but the frustration level only grows - GET RID OF SO MUCH SOFTWARE ITEMS IN OUR VEHICLES!! I am soooooo tired of glitchy and overly complicated BS in new vehicles. I like new vehicles for lots of reasons but not for the overly used software. Also, GET OFF MY DAMN LAWN!!
