2022 Ford Explorer Build Project

Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing well. I just purchased a certified pre-owned 2022 ford explorer ST. It did come with the 36,000 mile warranty and the 100,000 mile warranty. I have never modded a car and am new to the process. I want to do the basic upgrade to my ST of a step 1 tune and an inter cooler upgrade but am a little psyched out by the warranty implications. So, for me, I would love to know:

1. What intercooler have you guys used and had success with?
2. What tune (ford performance, Cobb, custom)
3. I live in Illinois, any place you’d recommend getting the work done?
4 experiences with warranty modding the car
