Forgot to post the new wheel cover completed. I had to shrink a few spots around the top spokes but it came out virtually perfect. View attachment 19772
Any tips on getting the seems at the 3 and 9 o’clock position to come together tighter?

I don’t recall having any issues there. A few places where I needed it tight I just pulled the string harder. Mine was a hair loose where your thumbs rest in the little indents…I soaked the leather there and hit it with a heat gun the shrink it and it fits perfectly.

Unbroken, check your messages please! I sent you one about the driver seat. I saw before you took out some foam since you were tall. I have the same issue

Haven’t had much to do lately…but I finally needed a new battery so I swapped the H6/Group 48 XS Power for an H7/94R X2 Power today. The 94R is about 1.5” longer but drops right into the hole so all is well. My audio ground wouldn’t reach because of that though so I had to improvise with a short piece of wire and a small distribution block to bridge the gap. I forgot to take pics with the cowl opened up but you a kinda see it squeezed in there.

These are not easy to find on the used market and even more rare to find an unblemished pair together. I’ve wanted these for years. IMG_4582.jpeg IMG_4583.jpeg

I forgot…I upped my cat and mouse driving game with a new Escort Redline 360C. Had to order a new Blendmount too since it has a different attachment. IMG_4548.jpeg

Also decided to switch up some stuff just to play. Ordered a pair of Acoustic Elegance IB15AU’s…which means I’ll be cutting out the floor in the spare tire well. Can’t decide but they’ll be fed with either a Mosconi Pro 2/30 or a pair of Pro 1/10’s

Basically…the car is 4.5 years old and needs a refresh. It’s getting a new front bumper and grille to go with the headlights with fresh paint on the bumper and hood. I also ordered an oem black oval for the grille. Wheels will be stripped and get fresh powder and new tires and I wanna try the AWE exhaust out to change things up.
Lots of planning the next few months while I’m gone working but she needs some love so she’s gonna get it.

How are these different than what’s in the US Explorers?
Are they LED projectors with the adaptive tracking?
I’ve never knew these are offered in different countries.

I just want the clear reflectors. It seems from reading that European cars have brighter high beams than we do also…so I’m curious to see if that’s true.

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) allows European high beams to be more than twice as bright as US high beams.

Those Euro lights are nice! The only thing I wanted to change about our headlights are the reflectors. I've always opened them up myself to change and was very hesitant with these. Do you force any harness issues? Plug and play for cleaner assembly and brighter lights...thats a hell of a deal.
