Do I need to retune for downpipes? I already have a ZFG 93 tune and I'm thinking about getting the whoosh downpipes while they are on sale this weekend.

You don’t need a retune. It’ll help and take advantage of the purchase of the downpipes, but it’s not needed. Adam’s tunes also adjust themselves to different parameters if they’re changed too, aka extra air flow. The adjustments without a retune won’t be a lot, but a tiny little adjustment.

This. If it’s the only change you should be gtg unless you are in search of every little bit. My butt dyno felt a nice little bump when I put my DPs on.

I was asking because when I put headers on my mustang, I had to get it tuned after because they tripped a CEL from moving the O2's farther downstream. Well DP's are basically headers for a turbo car.

I dragy'd mine after adding downpipes and it ran same times and trap speed. Got a revision and picked up over a tenth and 1.5 mph.

Except downpipes don’t change the design of the downpipes, they just have a lower cat cell count and flow better.
